We are fast approaching that time of year…yes sleighbells ring are you listening, in Penny Lane snow is glistening. A wonderful sight, Sue Henney tonight…walking in a Winter Wonderland.
Anyway – we just want to take the opportunity to wish you a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year. 2016 has been yet another positive year for Propeller Club Liverpool. With the help and support of so many members, friends and supporters we have had a great year.
The lunches have been well attended and everyone seemed to enjoy them – we have had packed First Thursdays, with sponsors and guests from London and Southampton swinging by. Bill Carter and Chris Farrell have cemented their roles as our golf organisers, and we were name checked not once, but twice at the Plumbers Ball.
Our shared Shipping calendar has been a success and allowed us to begin working with and supporting other maritime organisations locally. We have supported artistic endeavours in the region too, and we hope that you will all support Claire McCarthy’s Expressive Art on the Mersey exhibition when it opens at the Williamson Art Gallery in April.
Most of all it has been another year of friendships, learning, and helping people to win business. It is a real thrill to be a part of this maritime community, you are what makes our city what it is. So thank you for your support – and we look forward to seeing you soon.
Merry Christmas
