We need your support for the Seafarers’ UK ‘Liverpool Centenary Celebration Dinner’ which will take place on 23 February 2017 at the Merseyside Maritime Museum.

All funds raised on the night will be in support of the new care and accommodation wing being built at Mariners’ Park in Wallasey – a Seafarers UK Centenary project.

If you would like to speak to someone directly about this particular event or request a booking form, then please contact Linda Cotton linda.cotton52@gmail.com or if you would like to attend with Propeller Club Liverpool, please contact us directly propellerclubliverpool@gmail.com

During its Centenary Year, Seafarers UK aims to highlight the debt of gratitude we all owe the generations of seafarers by reflecting upon the sacrifices of the past, supporting the present as well as the future seafarers. You can find out more about our plans by reading about their Centenary projects http://www.seafarers.uk/centenary-appeal/ or watching their Centenary film http://www.seafarers.uk/centenary-appeal/centenary-film/

The event will be a wonderful evening, the ticket covers a drinks reception, 3 course meal, 1/2 bottle wine pp – with the Lord Mayor in attendance, and John Prescott speaking…but even more importantly is about supporting the care of seafarers. The Mariners Park is an amazing jewel in the crown of care for those who have worked at sea, and this event will do so much to make it even better. So please consider attending and supporting the amazing work of Seafarers UK and the development of Mariner’s Park.
