It has been a long time coming, but the next iteration of the Mersey Maritime Awards has been opened for your votes – https://mmia2021.awardsplatform.com/
Please take a few minutes to look at the nominations and to cast your vote. As you might expect, there are a number of our Corporate members up for awards, and so too individual members whose companies and organisations are in the mix. Please do vote for our corporate members – they do so much for the Propeller Club, but more importantly they put food in your tummies, and drinks to your lips! So reward them with your votes.
There are a couple of categories in which our corporates are up against each other, and that’s a shame – but get behind one or other, and let’s make sure the best companies win!
The Innovation Award
Our corporate members Bibby Marine and Brookes Bell are fighting this one out!
International Trade Award
Hill Dickinson
Apprentice Employer Award
The Royal Navy
Maritime Professional Services Award
Again, a corporate member duel – with Brookes Bell and Hill Dickinson
Micro Business of the Year
Our corporate members Fort Recruitment are big players here – and also a mention for our individual member Ben Pinnington as his company Polaris PR feature in this category.
SME of the Year Award
Stone Marine
Positive Impact Award
Here we have two amazing charities in this category – Merseyside Adventure Sailing Trust enables young people achieve personal development through sail training, and The Liverpool Shipwreck and Humane Society who reward and recognise life savers and are introducing the Derbyshire Award, in remembrance of the sacrifices made at sea, and to reward those who make important contributions to safety and life at sea.
