We are delighted to announce that two esteemed members of the Propeller Club Port of Liverpool have been recognised in the prestigious All About Shipping Top 100 Women list.
Anna Kaparaki, rose in the rankings to 45th position. As a Lecturer in Maritime Law at Liverpool John Moores University and Senior Solicitor at Mackinnons LLP, Anna brings exceptional expertise to both academia and legal practice. Her dual role in education and law, combined with her active participation in WISTA UK and our Propeller Club, showcases the immense talents within our maritime community.
Sue Henney, Head of Marketing at IDWAL and a Trustee of ISWAN and the Liverpool Shipwreck and Humane Society, has earned her place on this distinguished list. Her leadership in maritime marketing and dedication to industry advancement exemplify the calibre of professionals within our organisation.
You will know too that if you have ever been ill, under the weather, missed a few meetings or whatever, our Sue is fast to check in. She cares! About shipping, about Liverpool, about us all…and we are very, very lucky to have that human connection at the heart of all we do.
This recognition highlights not only their individual achievements but also reflects the strength and professional excellence of our Propeller Club membership. Their success inspires us all and reinforces the vital role women play in shaping the maritime industry’s future.
