The latest Mersey Maritime Industry awards showcased a range of worthy winners, most of them for past exploits. One of the most important prizes is all about someone doing great things now, but who is also destined to have an amazing career ahead. So it was with huge excitement that we saw one of our own members, Charlotte McCarthy of Stone Marine Shipcare, heralded as Rising Star 2022.
This award will be made to someone under the age of 30 whose contribution has made a real and positive impact on the business in which they are employed.
Charlotte beat off stiff competition from Cruise Liverpool and also Marine Specialised Technology to win her award.
We are sure you will join us in congratulating her, and wishing her even more success to come. Well done Charlotte!
As ever the whole award ceremony was an excellent event, showcasing our region and the amazing maritime skills, passion and energy within it. We look forward to seeing you there in 2023.
