On International Women’s Day, we wanted to say thank you to all the amazing maritime women who make Propeller Club Liverpool all that it is. Without the skills, knowledge, energy, passion and drive of these maritime women, not only would our club be diminished, it simply wouldn’t exist.
We have the maritime community we have because of these women, because of all they do and all they are. They are inspirations to all of us every day, they defy any trace of gender bias, they are the rising tide of professionalism and brilliance which lifts every ship in our networking port.
It isn’t enough to thank them, this is about celebrating them – and all they do, and all they are. These women, and many more who come along to our events, who lead us, who develop what we do, who deliver it and who are the driving force – we salute you, we are so lucky that you are in maritime, and hope that you will attract even more women to the industry.
