Many Propeller Club Liverpool members will be hopping on Easyjet and heading to Athens to attend the Posidonia Shipping exhibition from the 6th-10th June. We are keen to highlight whatever our good friends are doing, what they are promoting and we hope to bring everyone together to showcase the amazing skills we have locally.
One event to try and catch is the Nautical Institute “Meet the author event” – this is held in the UK Pavilion, Stand 1.216b – on Wednesday 8 June, from 1400. You will be able to chat with our Propeller Club Liverpool Vice President, Steven Jones. He is the author of the Nautical Institute’s hugely popular series of maritime security guides, and will be on hand to discuss issues relating to maritime security, piracy, crime at sea and stowaways. Also, he will explaining the writing process, and issuing guidance to anyone thinking of sharing their maritime expertise.
